- LOCATE, MONITOR & PREVENT - Our high strength & professional-grade pheromone adhesive pads have been specially formulated to work with Indian Meal Moth / Pantry Moth (Plodia interpunctella), a food-related moth normally found in kitchens. The pheromone pads can be used as a primary method to locate infestations within kitchens, monitor control treatments as well as prevent new emerging infestations
- PHEROMONE CONTROL - Entopest pads emit an artificial sex pheromone (lure) to attract male moths to the adhesive board. Attracting male moths break the insect lifecycle and subsequently helps to monitor, prevent and control infestations. Pheromone is an important method in moth treatments but should not be considered the sole application; especially for established issues. Pheromone lasts for 12 weeks before replacement is required
- MOTH SPECIES SPECIFIC - The integrated pheromone will only work with the Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella). Limited success can be found with close family species Plodia and Esphestia, but this is not guaranteed. This pheromone will not work with any other species of moth. If unsure Entopest offers a free identification service
- USE WITH PAD HOLDERS - The pads are manufactured for the professional pest control industry and designed to be fitted into specialist moth trap pad holders including our clear Entopest Hangers. Pads can be used on their own but holders help to minimise contact with food packaging and other foreign objects that may be in close proximity. Pads measures 130mm x 60mm and are supplied in outer packs of 10
- PLACEMENT OF PADS - Users should place pads in areas of known moth activity or where moth activity is suspected such as within kitchen cupboards, on kitchen knobs, pantry rooms and under units; if moths are present they will quickly become attracted to the pads. We include comprehensive instructions, guidance videos and technical support to help with moth pad placement and control
